So, what’s the role …

Operational Leadership \& Excellence

  • Orchestrate Daily Flow: Lead the daily rhythm of the cafe with a hands\-on approach.

  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure every inch of the space reflects Scéal’s high standards, from the visual presentation of our bakes to the overall "vibe" and atmosphere.

  • The Bridge: Act as the vital link between our customers and the production team, fostering a culture of clear, timely, and collaborative communication.
Team Culture \& People Development
  • Be a Mentor: You will develop and protect an incredible team culture, turning a group of staff into a high\-performing, connected community.

  • Strategic Growth: Lead the charge on recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training for our Baristas and FOH team, ensuring they grow as the business grows.

  • Team Logistics: Master the art of the rota, balancing labor budgets with the human needs of the team to ensure a happy, motivated workplace.
The Guest Experience
  • Sceal Hospitality: Set the gold standard for customer service, handling queries with a "yes" attitude and striving to make every guests’ day better.

  • Trend Spotting: Analyse customer demand and local trends, sharing your "ear to the ground" insights with the senior production team to help shape our future menus.
Business \& Technical Management
  • Resource Management: Own the inventory and procurement process, ensuring we have exactly what we need to deliver excellence every day.

  • Performance Tracking: Manage revenue reporting and team budgeting, using data to help drive the cafe’s success.

  • Safety \& Care: Maintain our high standards of safety and hygiene, overseeing HACCP compliance and equipment maintenance to keep the engine of the cafe running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Proven Leadership: Experience leading teams within a specialty coffee or premium hospitality environment.

  • Operational Excellence: A meticulous eye for detail with the ability to manage rotas, budgets, and stock procurement seamlessly.

  • Brand Ambassadorship: A genuine passion for artisan food and specialty coffee, acting as the primary voice of the Scéal brand for our guests.

  • Growth Mindset: A proactive, "solutions\-oriented" attitude with the ambition to scale alongside a rapidly expanding business.

  • People\-First Approach: Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills to foster a kind, high\-performing team culture.
Pay: €35,000\.00\-€38,000\.00 per year
