We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. This role requires a hands\-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. The Café Manager will play a key role in supervising the team, maintaining high culinary standards, and driving the overall success of the café.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and high\-quality food and beverages.


• Lead and manage a team of baristas, cooks, and support staff, fostering a positive work environment.


• Implement and maintain food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.


• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.


• Develop and train staff in customer service excellence and café procedures.


• Create and update menus in collaboration with the culinary team to reflect seasonal offerings.


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.


• Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures.


• Assist in bartending duties as needed during peak hours or special events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a café, restaurant, or hotel setting.


• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.


• Experience in culinary arts or bartending is advantageous.


• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service.


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£36,144\.91 per year
