Cafe Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, be smiley and bubbly while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and customers. This role requires a hands\-on approach to managing food preparation, team management, barista training and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.


• Oversee food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.


• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure the café runs efficiently.


• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service while fostering a positive team environment.


• Implement and maintain operational procedures that enhance productivity and customer experience.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the café environment.


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.


• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a restaurant or café setting.


• Barista trained, must have at least 2 years barista training.


• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.


• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.


• Previous experience in hospitality or barista roles is advantageous.


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike.
