We're supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business in their search for a CAD Technician to join their Design team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong 3D CAD experience looking to develop their career within a growing and innovative engineering environment.
Core Duties:
- Producing approval, fabrication, and construction drawings
- Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials
- Supporting customer-specific design projects from concept through to manufacture
- Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure accurate design delivery
- Using Autodesk Inventor and other CAD tools to develop efficient design solutions
- Supporting continuous improvement and Design for Manufacture initiatives
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software
- Engineering or manufacturing industry experience
- Experience producing technical drawings and Bills of Materials
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- ERP system knowledge would be advantageous
