Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and models using a variety of CAD software tools. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to construction and civil engineering projects, ensuring precision and adherence to project specifications. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.

  • Prepare schematics and technical documentation for construction projects.

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to interpret design requirements.

  • Review and modify existing drawings to meet project updates or regulatory standards.

  • Assist in the integration of CAD models into project workflows, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Maintain organised digital files and version control for all CAD\-related documents.

  • Support site teams by providing technical drawings and visualisations as needed.

Experience
  • Proven experience as a CAD Engineer or similar role within the construction or civil engineering sectors.

  • Proficiency in a range of CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.

  • Strong understanding of schematics design and technical drawing standards.

  • Experience working on construction projects from concept through completion is highly desirable.

  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed drawings.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
