As a Cable Jointer at Last Mile, you’ll work alongside other Cable Jointers and Jointer’s Mates within your authorisations, focusing on High Voltage/Low Voltage New Connections in your region.

If you are currently working as part of a team with a Jointer’s Mate and are considering a move, we are also recruiting a Jointer’s Mate to join the team.

Your responsibilities as a Cable Jointer:

• Ensure all relevant information is received and fully understood before commencing any work activities


• Carry out site specific risk assessments prior to starting work and throughout the task as required


• Promote and demonstrate a strong culture of health, safety and quality at all times


• Complete all works in line with Last Mile and relevant DNO specifications, using tools, equipment and plant correctly


• Notify the project supervisor or project manager of any variations and report all accidents or incidents promptly

Experience / Knowledge:

• Experienced Cable Jointer with relevant authorisations

Qualifications

• EUSR or ECS card


• Full UK driving licence


• First aid certification


• NRSWA Operator certification (desirable)
