Job Overview

A varied support role sitting across buying, quality control, and operations at Tile

Mountain. The role provides day\-to\-day assistance to the Buying, Quality, and

Operations teams — helping keep pricing and sales data accurate, supporting

product quality checks, and helping coordinate delivery scheduling and logistics

reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Buying Support

  • Conduct market research to support range and pricing decisions.

  • Carry out competitor pricing checks and flag discrepancies or opportunities.

  • Produce and maintain sales performance reports.

  • Support the Buying team with general data analysis and administration.
2\. Quality Control Support
  • Assist the Quality Control Manager with day\-to\-day quality checks and duties.

  • Help log, track, and report on quality issues or product non\-conformances.

  • Support any documentation or supplier communication related to quality control.
3\. Operations Support
  • Assist the Operations Assistant with delivery scheduling across warehouses.

  • Support logistics operations, including coordination of inbound/outbound deliveries.

  • Help produce operational analysis and reporting.
4\. Success Measures
  • Pricing and sales reports are accurate, timely, and used confidently by the Buying Team.

  • Quality issues are logged and tracked with minimal gaps.

  • Delivery schedules run smoothly with clear, reliable reporting support.
Requirements

Skills

  • Strong Excel skills; comfortable working with data and reports.

  • Good attention to detail, particularly around pricing and quality checks.

  • Organised, able to manage several ongoing workstreams at once.

  • Clear communicator — will liaise across buying, quality, and operations teams.
Experience: Previous experience in a retail, buying, or logistics support role is beneficial but not essential.

Pay: £26,436\.80 per year
