Please note, this is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week on\-site, with occasional travel to other locations.
About the Role
As a Buyer at Unipart you’ll work within a busy Procurement department to manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiating the best terms possible and maintaining positive relationships. You’ll be responsible for managing price queries, issuing RFQs as required and reconciling invoices to reduce payment delays.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Manage supplier portfolios
- Issue RFQs
- Manage price queries and invoice reconciliations
- Master data
- Negotiate prices
We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!
- CIPS degree or equivalent in purchasing \& supply
- Experience working in a busy Procurement environment
- Proven history of maintaining good relationships with suppliers
- Excellent negotiation skills
- High level of data literacy
