Job Overview
We are a small, growing civil engineering company seeking a buyer/purchaser to support projects across the civil engineering and industrial building sector. We specialise in reinforced concrete foundations, concrete hardstandings, drainage and environmental upgrades to existing and new industrial property and also undertake office refurbishment when required.
The Role:
Office based
\* To obtain best prices for materials etc in the relevant locations to enable competitive quotes to our clients.
\* To liaise with our team and plan deliveries of materials to sites at times requested by site managers.
\* To issue purchase orders to our team to enable materials to be collected as required once prices are secured.
What We Are Looking For:
\* Some experience in buying for the civil engineering and building sector.
\* Up\-to\-date knowledge of current market suppliers
\* Confident working independently and dealing directly with managers.
\* Reliable, organised and detail\-focused
\* Full time opportunity for the right person
\* Rates negotiable for the right candidate based on experience.
