Business Services Assistant Manager

The successful candidate will play a key role within the Business Services team, managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors while supporting the wider team's development. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, offering commercial and technical advice, and will work closely with Partners and Managers to help drive the department forward.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring work is completed accurately and to deadline


• Review accounts and management information prepared by junior members of the team


• Provide technical and commercial advice to clients across a range of sectors


• Support the development and training of junior staff members


• Liaise directly with Partners and clients to build strong working relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with relevant practice experience


• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment


• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP


• Excellent communication and client-facing skills


• Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members
