The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day\-to\-day running of the business, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring that our teams and clients receive a seamless experience. You’ll also take ownership of ISO compliance activities, working closely with our COO to maintain certification and ensure best practice across the business.
This is a hybrid role, based at our Daresbury office, combining in\-person collaboration with the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily business operations across multiple departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow\-ups for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of Valuechain’s digital platforms across the business and client projects.

  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support project delivery and performance tracking.

  • Ensure all ISO compliance documentation is maintained and updated regularly.

  • Work closely with the COO to schedule and coordinate internal audits, ensuring full compliance with relevant ISO standards and supporting external audits where required.

  • Assist with supplier and customer communications, ensuring timely responses and follow\-ups.

  • Support finance and administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, proposals, contracts, and marketing documentation.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows, contributing to operational eJiciency.
Skills \& Experience
  • Previous experience in operations, compliance, or business administration roles.

  • Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar) is highly desirable.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or supply chain platforms is an advantage.

  • A proactive, problem\-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast\-paced environment.
