Business Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced automotive professional for the role of Business Manager at a reputable dealership in Exeter, Devon. Our client, a leading UK motor retail group, is offering an excellent opportunity for career progression within a customer-focused environment.

Duties of the Business Manager role include:

• Supporting the sales team to maximise vehicle and finance opportunities


• Presenting and explaining finance, insurance, warranty, and protection products


• Ensuring a transparent and professional customer experience throughout the sales process


• Ensuring all finance agreements and sales activities adhere to regulatory standards


• Building rapport and trust with customers to foster long-term relationships


• Driving department performance in line with targets


• Promoting the Group’s customer-centric Active Sales process


• Providing expert advice on vehicle finance and related products

Requirements for the Business Manager position:

• Previous experience as a Business Manager, Transaction Manager, or in automotive sales management


• Strong understanding of automotive finance and insurance products


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities


• Confidence in independent decision-making


• Professional, customer-focused approach to service


• Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment


• Full UK driving licence
