Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 \+ Uncapped Commission (OTE £50,000 – £70,000\+)

The Opportunity

If you’re a proven B2B salesperson who enjoys winning new business and controlling your own earnings, this is a role where you can genuinely make an impact. This is a true new business role. You will generate your own opportunities, build pipeline and close deals. If you’re looking for leads to be handed to you, this role is not the right fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, and networking

  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline

  • Engage with SMEs to understand their IT, Microsoft 365, and communications requirements

  • Present tailored solutions across IT support, Microsoft 365 licensing, backup, connectivity, and security services

  • Manage the full sales cycle through to close
What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven outbound B2B new business sales experience within the UK market

  • Demonstrable success in generating your own pipeline and closing new business

  • Experience selling IT services, Microsoft 365 solutions, connectivity, or VoIP

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with UK\-based decision\-makers
Expectation:

This role is not suited to candidates who require training in basic sales fundamentals.

We are looking for individuals who are already confident managing the full sales process and consistently closing new business.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling recurring revenue services (e.g. IT support, Microsoft 365 licensing, backup solutions)

  • Exposure to hosting, cloud infrastructure, or co\-location services

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management

Interview Process

We keep our interview process straightforward and focused on finding the right fit for both you and the team.

Stage 1 – Initial Screening Call

A short, informal call focused primarily on getting to know you as a person. We’re looking to understand your personality, communication style, and how you come across in conversation. This stage is less about your sales numbers and more about how you think, how you engage with others, and whether you’re a good fit for the team and culture at idash Solutions.

Candidates progressing to Stage 2 will be those who demonstrate strong communication skills and a clear fit with the team.

Stage 2 – In\-Person Interview

A more detailed discussion around your sales experience, with a strong focus on performance, targets, and results achieved.

This is a target\-driven, new business role, and you’ll need to confidently demonstrate:

  • How you’ve generated your own pipeline through cold calling, outreach, and networking

  • The targets you’ve been set and how consistently you’ve achieved or exceeded them

  • Examples of new business deals you’ve personally won and how you closed them

  • Your approach to managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
We’re specifically looking for candidates with a proven track record as strong new business closers, not those relying on inbound leads or account management.

We’ll also give you a deeper insight into the role, expectations, and what success looks like at idash Solutions.

Location \& Eligibility

This is an office\-based role in Eaton Socon, St Neots, and requires daily attendance.

Applicants must be within a commutable distance and able to travel to the office each day. We are unable to offer remote working, relocation support, or visa sponsorship.

You must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
