At We Have a Meeting (WHAM), we’re not your typical sales company.

We don’t just make calls \- we create conversations that matter. We partner with ambitious businesses to help them start meaningful conversations with their ideal clients and generate serious commercial opportunities.

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help us continue that growth.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to sit back and “account manage” warm leads. We want someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, spotting opportunities and driving revenue.

If you love sales, enjoy speaking to senior decision\-makers and want to be part of a business doing things differently \- keep reading.

What you’ll do:

As a Business Development Manager at WHAM, you’ll:

  • Build and develop new business opportunities through outbound activity, networking and relationship\-building.

  • Lead high\-quality commercial conversations with founders, MDs, Sales Directors and marketing leaders.

  • Manage your own pipeline from first conversation through to close.

  • Understand prospects’ challenges and position WHAM’s services in a way that genuinely helps.

  • Work closely with our sales and delivery teams to create smooth client handovers and long\-term partnerships.

  • Help shape strategy, contribute ideas and play a key role in WHAM’s continued growth.
This is a proper growth role with real ownership and earning potential.

What we’re looking for:

We’re not obsessed with polished CVs or corporate buzzwords. What matters most is attitude, communication skills and commercial ability.

You’ll probably be someone who:

  • Has experience in business development, outbound sales or a commercial sales role.

  • Is confident speaking to senior stakeholders and decision\-makers.

  • Knows how to build rapport and create genuine conversations.

  • Is self\-motivated, proactive and driven by targets.

  • Enjoys hunting for new opportunities and winning business.

  • Wants progression, responsibility and the chance to grow with a fast\-moving company.

  • Is a sound person who’ll fit into the team.
Experience in lead generation, agency sales, SaaS, Recruitment or outsourced sales is a bonus \- but not essential.

What you’ll get:

  • Uncapped commission structure.

  • Unlimited time off \- because balance matters.

  • Private therapy access \- your wellbeing comes first.

  • Enhanced family policies for when life changes.

  • Clear progression opportunities as we continue to grow.

  • Ongoing training, coaching and development.

  • A genuinely brilliant team who’ll support you, challenge you and make work enjoyable.
Why WHAM?

We’re redefining what working in sales looks like.

No robotic scripts. No outdated “hard sell” tactics. Just smart people having better conversations.

We care about personality, curiosity and commercial thinking. We want people who are ambitious but human.

If you want to join a business where you can make a real impact, earn well and actually enjoy what you do \- we’d love to hear from you.
