Summary

We are seeking a Full or Part\-Time Business Development Manager to join our team at our Head Office in East Sussex. This role is vital in expanding our client base and strengthening our market presence through out the South East of England, aligning with our mission to provide top\-tier services in the agricultural and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the heavy haulage, waste management, and agricultural sectors.

  • Develop strategic plans to increase sales and market share.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

  • Develop and Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.

  • Seek and complete tender submissions along side the management team

Experience required:
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the heavy haulage or agricultural contracting industries is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of CRM software/databases

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.

  • Self\-motivated with a results\-oriented mindset.

  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships.

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards is a plus.

What we offer you:

\- Up to £30,000 per annum or FTE for part time hours, (salary) dependent on experience.

\- Sales commission rates (to be discussed at interview).

\- Company vehicle
