Are you an experienced sales or business development specialist in the food manufacturing sector and looking for an opportunity with significant potential to grow alongside a rapidly expanding business?

This well-established Dairy company already supplies a range of products to major retail, foodservice and restaurant clients across the UK. They’re seeing consistent year-on-year growth and have recently set up a new factory in Manchester to triple their output and meet increasing customer demand.

We’re looking for an ambitious individual to work directly with the company’s senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving business growth. You’ll work in a varied role involving account management for existing customers while identifying & converting leads to generate new business with a diverse range of clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven sales or business development background in the food or beverages sector working for either a manufacturer or a distributor. Importantly, they’ll have a proactive approach to winning new business and a results-driven mentality.

This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the fastest growing food manufacturers in the North West in a highly autonomous role with significant scope to grow.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Managing existing accounts, setting & attending appointments with decision makers to increase volumes and margins for orders


• Converting leads for new business opportunities into appointments & orders while building a pipeline of future opportunities


• Analysing opportunities and areas of success for the business, and building upon these


• Inputting into long-term business growth strategy and supporting with business improvement activities

• Previous sales or BD experience in the food & beverage industry – either with a manufacturer or distributor


• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities


• Full driving license and comfortable with travel
