RT Stone is a leading supplier and fabricator of premium stone surfaces, specialising in Quartz, Granite, Marble, Porcelain, and other high\-end worktop solutions. We work closely with kitchen retailers, builders, developers, architects, designers, and commercial clients across the UK, delivering exceptional quality products and outstanding customer service.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and results\-driven Business Development Manager to expand our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and support our growth across the UK, Europe, and the USA.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales \& Business Development
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the stone, construction, kitchen, retail, and commercial sectors.
- Generate new leads and convert enquiries into profitable sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with kitchen studios, contractors, developers, architects, interior designers, and trade customers.
- Promote RT Stone's products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client visits, presentations, and meetings to understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities through to successful completion.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to maximise repeat business and long\-term partnerships.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with production, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently.
- Identify opportunities to expand RT Stone's presence within new UK regions and European markets.
- Support the company's growth strategy in the USA by developing customer and partner networks.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, pricing structures, and emerging industry opportunities.
- Provide market intelligence and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, exhibitions, and industry meetings as required.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or a similar commercial role.
- Strong ability to generate leads and win new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship\-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and strong sales focus.
- Experience within the stone, worktop, kitchen, construction, interiors, or building materials industry.
- Existing network of contacts within the kitchen, construction, developer, or architectural sectors.
- Experience working with international customers or suppliers.
