Quintas Group is accelerating the global energy transition by providing advanced Asset Management, Technical Advisory and Data solutions for renewable energy assets. We are experts in the management and optimisation of renewable energy portfolios, helping clients maximise performance, profitability and long\-term value across the full asset lifecycle.

As part of our continued growth in Italy, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen our local presence and originate new business opportunities across Quintas Group’s full suite of services, including Asset Management, Technical Advisory and Analytics.

The role will act as a key front\-end representative of Quintas Group in the Italian market, building relationships with existing and prospective clients, identifying qualified opportunities, gathering market intelligence and supporting their transition into the formal sales and proposal process.

The mission of the position is to generate sustainable business growth in Italy by increasing awareness of Quintas Group’s capabilities, developing trusted client partnerships and originating high\-quality opportunities aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives. The role will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Advisory, Asset Management and Data Analytics teams to ensure a coordinated, client\-centric and commercially focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development \& Client Engagement

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients within assigned markets.

  • Act as a visible representative of Quintas Group across industry events, conferences, networking forums and client meetings drawing on the Group Executive, Business Unit Heads and subject matter experts as required.

  • Increase market awareness of Quintas Group's services, capabilities and value proposition.

  • Identify and engage key decision\-makers and influencers within target organisations.

  • Establish and maintain strategic account engagement plans for priority clients.
Opportunity Origination \& Pipeline Development
  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across all Quintas Group service lines.

  • Generate a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.

  • Conduct initial opportunity assessments to determine client needs, strategic fit and potential value.

  • Facilitate the transition of qualified opportunities into the formal sales and proposal process managed by the Commercial team.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasts, and market and client intelligence within the CRM system.
Account Management \& Relationship Growth
  • Support the development of long\-term client relationships that encourage repeat business and cross\-selling opportunities.

  • Coordinate engagement activities across multiple client stakeholders and business units.

  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities to expand existing service relationships.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for clients during the early stages of engagement.
Market Intelligence \& Insight
  • Gather and share market intelligence relating to clients, competitors, industry trends and emerging opportunities.

  • Contribute intelligence and insights to the Integrated Intelligence capability.

  • Support the identification of new market segments, service opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Maintain awareness of regulatory, commercial and industry developments affecting target markets.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with Commercial, Marketing and Service Delivery teams to maximise business development effectiveness.

  • Engage subject matter experts to support client discussions and opportunity development where required.

  • Contribute to account planning, pipeline reviews and business development governance activities.

  • Support the preparation of client engagement plans, presentations and strategic business development initiatives.
CRM \& Reporting
  • Ensure all client interactions, opportunities and relationship information are accurately recorded in the CRM system.

  • Maintain data quality and compliance with business development processes and governance requirements.

  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, relationship activities and market developments.

  • Support forecasting and business planning activities through timely and accurate information management.
Performance \& Continuous Improvement
  • Achieve agreed business development objectives, pipeline targets and activity measures.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes, tools and methodologies.

  • Promote a collaborative, client\-centric and commercially focused culture across Quintas Group.
Expected Outcomes
  • Strong and sustainable client relationships within assigned markets.

  • Consistent generation of qualified opportunities across all service lines.

  • Accurate and well\-maintained CRM and pipeline information.

  • Increased market visibility and awareness of Quintas Group.

  • Achievement of business growth objectives through proactive client engagement and opportunity origination.
Coordination \& Internal Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Commercial to define customer strategies, optimisation of the business development and proposals processes, and CRM system.

  • Work closely with the Head of Advisory, Head of Asset Management and Head of Data Analytics drawing on subject matter experts within their teams when required.
Reporting to: Chief Growth Officer in the interim and eventually the Head of Business Development, Europe when appointed.

Requisitos
--------------

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Energy, or similar).

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector, ideally in Project Management, Asset Management, or Technical Advisory.

  • Proven understanding of business and project development, and operational management of solar PV, storage or other renewable assets in Italy.

  • Experience in client\-facing roles and proven ability to translate commercial and technical insight into business opportunities.

  • Commercial mindset, negotiation skills, and comfort managing proposals and agreements.

  • Up to date knowledge of the sector, including technologies, policies and market trends.

  • Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills.

  • Structured, proactive, and goal\-oriented approach.

  • Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary international team.

  • Based in Italy in order to provide local presence alongside the existing Quintas team in Rome.
Desirable:

Familiarity with contract negotiation and project financing processes.
