Business Development Manager - Property
We furnish apartments for property investors. Premium furniture packages, delivered and installed, sold through the lettings agents, sales agents and developers who refer their landlords to us.
We started trading in November 2025 and have turned over £400,000 since, each quarter roughly double the one before it. No legacy accounts and no sales team. You would be the first one.
This role is built for someone already in property.
If you are an off plan sales agent, an estate agent, a new homes salesperson or a lettings negotiator, and you are good at it, then you already know the branch managers we need to be in front of and you already understand how a completion timeline works. That is most of the job. We can teach you furniture in a fortnight.
What you would actually do
You own a patch of North West agents and developers, and everything it produces.
Target and open lettings agencies, sales agencies and developers across the region. Get in front of branch managers, directors and land teams, and get Aspen Haus onto the referral list. Brief every branch you sign so each negotiator knows what we do and what the introduction fee is.
Then keep it producing. Office visits, site visits, completions. You track what is completing across your patch so we are in front of the buyer before the keys are handed over.
You do not have to close the end investor. You feed live referrals in and the founder quotes and closes them. You get paid on every pack your patch produces, whoever closes it.
One number matters, which is the revenue your agents generate. You will run your own forecast against it and work directly with the founder on pricing and priorities. No layers and no committee.
The package
\- £33,500 base salary
\- 10 to 15% of the profit on every pack your patch produces, uncapped
\- £45,000 to £65,000 realistic year one earnings
\- Generous mileage allowance
\- Salary and commission reviewed at three months
\- Field based across the North West, one day a week in our Manchester office
Essential:
\- A sales background with a target you can talk about honestly
\- You are comfortable walking into a branch cold and asking for the manager
\- You build relationships that are still producing six months after the first meeting
\- Full UK driving licence, your own vehicle, and happy on the road four days a week
\- Based in the North West
Desirable:
\- Estate agency, off plan sales, new homes, lettings, build to rent or FF\&E background
\- Existing relationships with North West agencies or developers
\- You have built a referral channel from scratch before
Probably not for you if:
\- You need to personally close the end customer to feel like you are selling
\- You want daily management and a big company process to lean on
\- A high guaranteed base matters more to you than uncapped upside
