Salary: £28,106\.49 to £31,484\.83 doe \+ Commission \+ Company Benefits \= 40k\-50k OTE

The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well\-established hospitality and events workforce provider at a pivotal stage of growth. The business is investing heavily in its commercial function, introducing a more structured sales approach, embedding HubSpot across the organisation, and building a high\-performance culture focused on sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will play a key role in generating new business opportunities across the North of the UK, helping drive growth across hospitality, events, stadia, contract catering, hotels, and premium venues.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hunting for opportunities, building relationships, and developing a long\-term career in commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and secure new customers across target sectors.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
- Generate meetings through a combination of calls, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, and industry engagement.
- Take ownership of a defined territory and target account list.
- Develop territory plans and identify high\-potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records within HubSpot.
- Manage opportunities through the sales process from prospecting through to close.
- Ensure strong pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy.
- Develop a strong understanding of target sectors, customer challenges, and competitor activity.
- Represent the business at relevant networking and industry events.
- Work closely with operations, recruitment, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Experience in business development, sales, recruitment, account management, or hospitality.
- Comfortable generating your own opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship\-building skills.
- Self\-motivated, resilient, and target\-driven.
- Organised and comfortable working within CRM systems.
- Willing to travel throughout your territory.
