Job Summary

Do you have a knack for building relationships and driving sales? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Business Development Manager.

Navson, a progressive, energised and successful FMCG organisation, are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities and in the longer term manage existing accounts. This is a fast\-paced role working with multiple brands.

The Role:

  • Generate New Business.

  • Manage won accounts ongoing.

  • Working closely with the Sales Controller to deliver a key part of the sales strategy.

  • Implementing – where relevant \- national business plans.

  • Be the first line of commercial contact for new business.

  • Liaising with other departments to resolve issues and maximise opportunities

  • Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
Performance Measurements:
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPI's including outbound activity.

  • Deliver against distribution, volume, and other commercial metrics.

  • Deliver product distribution growth.

  • Implementation \& execution of National Promotional Activity.

  • Ensuring an effective journey call plan is developed to meet business and customer needs.
The candidate:
  • A sales professional with a business development mindset.

  • FMCG experience a pre\-requisite.

  • Experience with dealing with Unitas and Confex advantageous.

  • Highly numerate with good client relationship building skills.

  • Business development or sales experience advantageous.

  • Ability to work under pressure and self\-motivated.

  • Target driven with good negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Show strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Establish rapport and build relations across all levels.
Remuneration:
  • Salary Up to £45,000 dependent on experience

  • Car Allowance

  • Laptop and phone.

  • Contributory pension scheme.

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£45,000\.00 per year
