Business Development Manager (Mid Level) - Legal/Tax Industry
Post Complete are a Stamp Duty calculation service for law firms to submit clients for their property taxes to be calculated before being submitted through to HMRC. Post Complete are owned by SCA Tax who do offer a broad range of property taxes to the property industry. This role is for our SDLT product. Currently made up of two teams. The Tax Team and The Sales Team. We are recruiting for the Sales team currently. Prospecting, Booking appointments, and Running your own client meetings.
We are ideally looking for someone who is confident, and with experience of B2B selling into Law Firms. Or a Legal background. Possibly from a legal tech, CMS background for a growing business in Central Manchester working alongside a team of Tax advisors providing SDLT services to Law firms in a fast paced environment. Client meetings will be with key stakeholders within law firms, so the ability to influence decisions at that level is essential.

Day\-to\-day, you will:
- Prospect and Cold call Law Firms to speak to and book appointments with decision makers
- Omni channel approach – cold calling, emailing and linkedin with prospects
- Build and manage a pipeline of law firms
- Deliver product demos and tailor the meeting to suit their needs by discussing their business, their systems, and case volumes
- Build a multi\-level relationship with key stakeholders within Law Firms
- Host meetings with key stakeholders
- Occasionally attend off site industry events
- Always provide the highest level of customer service to our customers
- Attend sales training with the Senior Business Development Manager
- Take inbound calls to deal with queries from clients
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in SaaS, legal tech, or professional services.
- Strong understanding of law firms, terminology, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non\-technical audiences.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage and track sales activity.
- A consultative approach to selling—focused on solving problems, not just closing deals.
- Resilience, curiosity, and a genuine passion for the legal sector.
- Experience in selling into Law Firms is quite essential and legal experience an added bonus.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to the constant growth
- An ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of the legal industry
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an
- Persuasive, with the ability to close a sale
Pay: £35,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
