We are actively investing in technology, marketing, fleet growth and commercial partnerships as we continue to expand our operation.

We are now seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to help drive our next stage of growth.

The Role

This is not a passive account management position.

We are looking for a highly driven commercial professional capable of identifying, approaching and securing new business opportunities across the vehicle rental, fleet, automotive and transport sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building long\-term commercial relationships that generate recurring recovery and roadside assistance work.

Target sectors include:

  • Vehicle Rental Companies

  • Fleet Operators

  • Leasing Companies

  • Commercial Vehicle Operators

  • Logistics Companies

  • Main Dealership Groups

  • Motor Trade Businesses

  • Transport Companies

  • Local Authorities

  • Insurance \& Automotive Service Providers
Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach

  • Build and manage a pipeline using Apollo, Pipedrive and LinkedIn

  • Arrange meetings with key decision makers

  • Attend client meetings across London and the South East

  • Develop relationships with fleet managers, operations managers and transport directors

  • Deliver presentations and service proposals

  • Negotiate commercial agreements

  • Follow up opportunities and maintain CRM records

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful onboarding of new accounts

  • Help shape the company's commercial growth strategy
Requirements Essential
  • Proven B2B sales or business development experience

  • Strong communication and relationship\-building skills

  • Confidence making cold calls and conducting face\-to\-face meetings

  • Experience using CRM systems

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Highly organised and self\-motivated
Highly Desirable

  • Commercial Vehicle Sales

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 90 days:

  • Build a pipeline of target accounts

  • Secure meetings with fleet and rental operators

  • Generate commercial proposals

  • Win new trading accounts
Long term, you will play a key role in helping Black Eagle Recovery become one of the leading commercial recovery operators in the South East.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
