Clearest View Ltd is a growing cleaning and property support company providing residential and commercial cleaning, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, exterior cleaning, and property maintenance services to clients across Scotland.
As part of our growth plans, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, secure commercial contracts, develop strategic partnerships, and support the long\-term expansion of the business.
This is a key role within the company and will work directly with senior management to increase revenue, strengthen our market presence, and build long\-term client relationships.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, facilities management, property management, hospitality, education, and public sector organisations.
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, facilities management companies, housing associations, landlords, letting agents, estate agents, schools, care providers, hotels, and local businesses.
- Generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, direct outreach, and relationship\-building activities.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase company revenue and market share.
- Prepare quotations, service proposals, presentations, and tender submissions for prospective clients.
- Negotiate service agreements and commercial terms with new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and contract opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, trade events, and business development activities to promote the company's services.
- Work closely with management to support the expansion of services and entry into new markets.
- Monitor sales performance, revenue opportunities, and business development activities.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, contract opportunities, pipeline activity, and business growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to increase recurring revenue through long\-term service agreements and contract renewals.
- Support the onboarding and transition of newly secured clients to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in business development, sales, account management, commercial growth, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of securing new business opportunities and generating revenue growth.
- Experience developing and managing commercial client relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship\-building abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
- Experience within cleaning services, facilities management, property maintenance, property services, or related sectors.
- Experience working with property management companies, housing associations, landlords, estate agents, facilities management providers, or commercial property owners.
- Experience preparing tender submissions and managing contract negotiations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
