On Site Security Ltd is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate our growth across the security, cleaning, and facilities management sectors.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk waiting for leads to arrive.

We are looking for a true business developer – someone who understands the industry, knows how to open doors, build relationships, generate opportunities, and most importantly, close deals.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience within the security, cleaning, or FM sector (essential)

  • Strong track record of winning new business

  • Experience generating leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and face\-to\-face meetings

  • Confidence visiting construction sites, offices, commercial premises, and client locations

  • Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long\-term contracts

  • Strong negotiation and relationship\-building skills

  • Self\-motivated, target\-driven, and commercially focused

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities across the security, cleaning, and FM sectors

  • Conduct cold calls, email outreach, networking, and face\-to\-face prospecting

  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events

  • Build relationships with decision\-makers including Operations Managers, Facilities Managers, Procurement Teams, Project Managers, and Directors

  • Prepare and present proposals and quotations

  • Manage opportunities from initial contact through to contract award

  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities

  • Work closely with our operations team to ensure successful mobilisation of new contracts
The Person

We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, knock on doors, or walk onto a site and introduce themselves.

Someone who understands that winning business takes persistence, relationship building, and the ability to earn trust.

You will be comfortable moving from:

  • Cold calling prospects

  • Visiting offices and construction sites

  • Attending networking events

  • Following up opportunities

  • Negotiating contracts

  • Closing deals
