Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement local business growth strategies to increase revenue across all service lines — mail, banking, travel, and retail.

  • Identify new commercial opportunities and partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and service providers.

  • Promote high\-margin services (e.g., foreign exchange, business banking, Drop \& Go, and parcel services).

  • Lead local marketing and awareness campaigns

  • Build strong relationships with the community, including local councils, residents’ groups, and businesses.

  • Represent the Post Office at community and business events

  • Implement targeted promotions during peak seasons (Christmas, back\-to school, travel season, etc.)

  • Manage budgets, track profitability, and ensure cost efficiency in operations.

  • Oversee compliance with Post Office Ltd policies, including security, financial controls, and data protection.

  • Contribute to long\-term strategic planning for the Post Office,

Skills, Education and experience:
  • Strong understanding of Post Office services and retail operations

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship\-building skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines

Degree or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£39,000\.00 per year
