CasaPay is building a better way for property operators to manage rent payments, tenant onboarding, payment visibility and reconciliation.
We work with landlords, letting agents, property managers and operators who want a cleaner, simpler and more reliable way to collect and manage rental payments without adding more operational complexity.
We are now looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow CasaPay across the UK market.
The role
This is a hands\-on commercial role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning good conversations into qualified opportunities and closed business.
You will focus mainly on UK SMB and SME property operators, including letting agents, property managers, co\-living operators, PBSA operators and residential portfolio managers.
You will be responsible for creating pipeline, qualifying opportunities, running strong discovery, presenting CasaPay clearly, progressing deals and handing customers over properly once they are ready to onboard.
This is not a role for someone who only wants warm leads. We need someone who can build momentum, create conversations and work with discipline.
What you will do
- Identify and approach UK property operators who fit CasaPay’s target customer profile
- Build outbound pipeline through LinkedIn, email, events, referrals and targeted account research
- Qualify opportunities based on portfolio size, rent volume, operational pain, decision\-maker access and timing
- Run discovery conversations that uncover real problems around rent collection, reconciliation, tenant onboarding and payment visibility
- Present CasaPay in a simple, confident and commercially relevant way
- Manage opportunities through HubSpot with accurate next steps, deal information and pipeline discipline
- Work closely with the CCO, Head of Sales, Account Management and Product teams
- Support the transition from sales into onboarding so customers are set up properly
- Attend relevant property, PropTech and rental sector events where useful
- Help CasaPay learn what the UK market needs and feed that insight back into the business
You create high\-quality conversations with the right operators.
You qualify properly and do not fill the pipeline with weak opportunities.
You understand the difference between a nice chat and a real commercial opportunity.
You are comfortable speaking with founders, managing directors, operations leads, finance leads and property managers.
You write clearly, follow up properly and keep the CRM clean.
You are commercially hungry, but not chaotic.
What we are looking for
- Experience in B2B sales, business development or full cycle sales
- Ideally experience in SaaS, FinTech, payments, PropTech, property services or workflow software
- Confidence creating your own pipeline and approaching new accounts
- Strong discovery skills and the ability to understand operational pain
- Clear communication, strong follow\-up and good commercial judgement
- Comfortable using CRM systems and working with structured sales processes
- Able to work in an early stage environment where things move quickly
- Resilient, practical and focused on outcomes
- Based in the UK with the ability to attend meetings and events when needed
- Selling to letting agents, landlords, property managers or residential operators
- Understanding of rent collection, payments, reconciliation or tenant onboarding
- Experience selling into SMB or SME businesses
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or structured outbound tools
Commission will be linked to closed and activated rent volume, not just signed business. We care about customers going live and creating real value, not paper deals that never activate.
