Business Development Manager - Automotive (m/w/d)
Uniconn Group is a global provider that integrates R\&D, design, production, sales, and service of electrical connection components for the automotive industry and other industries. With headquarters in Shenzhen, China, Uniconn Group has established production bases in Shenzhen, Guangdong, Ningde, Fujian, Liyang, Jiangsu, Yibin, Sichuan, and Yueqing, Zhejiang in China. Uniconn Group has decided to expand its operations to Europe by establishing its first European manufacturing location in Kosice, Slovakia, and its Sales \& R\&D office in Munich, Germany in 2025\.
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Uniconn, you will be responsible for driving the company's business growth in Germany and Europe, particularly with customers and partners in the automotive supply industry.
You will develop and implement business development strategies, expand new market opportunities, and maintain existing customer relationships while ensuring that the company's performance targets and market share continue to grow.
Key responsibilities:
1\. Market expansion and strategy development:
Identify new market opportunities and develop potential customers, particularly in the automotive parts manufacturing sector.
Formulate and implement business development plans to ensure the achievement of company objectives.
Analyze market trends and develop targeted sales strategies.
2\. Maintain customer relationships:
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers to ensure continuous cooperation.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.
Participate in contract negotiations to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company.
3\. Business development and project management:
Coordinate internal resources to bring projects to completion in a timely manner.
Work closely with the technical team and supply chain to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project progress and resolve potential issues.
4\. Market analysis and reporting:
Monitor competitive dynamics and provide market intelligence to support strategic business decisions.
Provide regular business reports on business performance, market changes and business opportunities.
Personal requirements:
Location: Preferably Munich area. The role requires frequent travel to customers.
Education: Engineering, machinery, business administration, or related field.
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development in the automotive supply industry.
Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and technical requirements for automotive components.
Language skills: Proficiency in German and Professional knowledge of English for business communication and negotiation.
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Own initiative: strong self\-management skills, able to achieve business goals.
