Business Development Executive
WePack is a growing co\-packing business, providing flexible, high\-quality packing solutions to a wide range of customers. We pride ourselves on being agile, solution\-focused, and customer\-driven. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to drive new opportunities into the business through targeted lead generation.
This role is focused on identifying, developing, and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of potential customers, creating interest in WePack’s services, and generating high\-quality leads for the sales function. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys research, outreach, and opening doors to new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and generate new business leads within target markets (FMCG, co\-packing, retail, e\-commerce)
Research potential customers and key decision\-makers to build a strong prospect pipeline
Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to introduce WePack and generate interest
Qualify leads and book meetings for the sales team
Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and convert them into viable opportunities
Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline within CRM systems
Work closely with the wider sales and operations teams to ensure opportunities are aligned with business capability
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
About You
Previous experience in lead generation, sales development, or business development
Confident communicator, comfortable with outbound calls and engaging new prospects
Highly proactive and self\-motivated with a results\-driven mindset
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a pipeline of activity
Commercial awareness and ability to identify viable opportunities
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or co\-packing is desirable but not essential

Starting salary \- £22,100 Per annum Plus commission
