Business Development Executive — Trucks & Trailers

About us
UK Asset Services Ltd manages a growing fleet of over 100 trucks and trailers for hire and lease. We’re expanding quickly and looking for a driven, sector\-experienced Business Development Executive to win new customers and strengthen relationships with existing clients.

The role

• Prospect, develop and close new lease \& hire business for trucks and trailers to grow our customer base and fleet utilisation


• Manage and retain key existing customers, ensuring high service levels and repeat business


• Build and execute territory plans and sales campaigns to meet monthly/quarterly targets


• Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms and close deals


• Liaise with operations to ensure smooth delivery, handover and ongoing account management


• Report on pipeline, sales activity and forecasts to senior management

• Proven sales experience in truck/trailer leasing, rental, logistics or related commercial vehicle sector


• Strong drive, resilience and a hunter mentality — self\-motivated and results\-focused


• Excellent relationship\-building, negotiation and closing skills


• Organized, able to manage multiple accounts and a sales pipeline


• Full UK driving licence

• Established industry contacts and a network of potential customers


• Experience with CRM systems and commercial tendering
