Introduction
Ox Support Services Ltd is a growing security, cleaning, facilities management (FM), mobile patrol, key holding and event security provider operating throughout the UK. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and highly motivated Business Development Executive to help grow our client base through both modern CRM technology and traditional business development methods.
This is not a role for someone afraid of picking up the phone or approaching potential clients. We are looking for a confident individual with a strong work ethic, excellent punctuality and a genuine desire to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Use the client data, AI\-based CRM systems and email marketing platforms to identify and approach potential clients.
- Manage and develop targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow\-up activities.
- Arrange appointments and meetings with potential clients.
- Build relationships with Facilities Managers, Property Managers, Construction Companies, Event Organisers and Procurement Teams.
- Generate subcontracting opportunities with major security providers and FM companies.
- Develop direct business opportunities for security guarding, cleaning and facilities management services.
- Search and identify public and private tender opportunities.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of small tenders and proposals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines.
- Attend networking events and business meetings where required.
- Work closely with senior management to develop sales strategies.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, lead generation or account management.
- Strong IT skills and confidence using CRM systems.
- Experience using Apollo.io, LinkedIn, email marketing software or similar lead\-generation tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Ability to engage decision\-makers and overcome objections.
- Strong organisational and time\-management skills.
- Self\-motivated and target\-driven.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Security industry experience.
- Cleaning or Facilities Management sales experience.
- Tendering and bid\-writing experience.
- Experience selling B2B services.
- Punctual and reliable.

- ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Generate a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day.
- Send and manage targeted email campaigns using Apollo.io and other CRM platforms.
- Generate a minimum of 10 qualified client meetings per month.
- Identify and pursue subcontracting opportunities with major security and FM providers.
- Source and submit suitable tender opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and up\-to\-date CRM pipeline.
- Produce weekly activity and performance reports.
