Business Development Executive - Corporate Sports and Event hospitality

We are now looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to build lasting relationships with corporate clients, generate new business opportunities and help drive the next stage of our growth
Key Responsibilities
Sales \& Revenue Generation
- Proactively sell VIP hospitality packages and premium tickets for major sporting events.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative selling.
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients and private customers
- Provide tailored hospitality recommendations based on client needs and budgets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to event delivery.
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to generate repeat business and any upsell opportunities
- Maintain a detailed understanding of available hospitality packages, venues, and sporting events.
- Stay informed on key sporting calendars and high\-demand fixtures.
- Represent the company professionally at events when required.
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM.
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Essential Skills \& Experience
- Previous experience in a business development, sales or pro\-active account management role
- Proven ability to win new business while developing existing customer relationships
- Customer centric approach
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills
- Highly motivated and target\-driven
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise workload
- Competent with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience in sports hospitality, events, travel, or ticketing
- Knowledge of major UK and international sporting events
- Experience selling to corporate clients
- Existing network of sports or hospitality contacts
- Honest, trustworthy and professional

Full\-time, typically Monday–Friday. Applications will be considered from candidates looking for 30\+ hours per week
Flexibility will be required during major sporting events and busy periods.
You will be required to attend event days throughout the year as and when necessary (This can be evenings and weekends)
Pay: £26,000\.00\-£28,000\.00 per year
