St Killian Candle Company, a rapidly expanding business based in Ireland, selling its patented candle burning systems to Churches \& Cathedrals, in Ireland, UK, Europe and North America, now has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Agent based in South West England . There is considerable scope for growth within this role.

Business Development Executive

We are seeking a self\-motivated Business Development Executive to develop new business and manage client relationships within Catholic churches, parishes and Cathedrals.

This is a commission\-only, field\-based role with strong earning potential for high performers. It’s ideally suited to someone confident working independently and meeting decision\-makers face\-to\-face. In addition to developing new business, the successful candidate will inherit an established portfolio of existing customers, generating approximately £16,500 per year in recurring commission income from the outset

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through direct, in\-person outreach to churches, parishes, and cathedrals

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new opportunities through to sale

  • Deliver face\-to\-face product demonstrations and presentations

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision\-makers

  • Attend meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and relevant events

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and progress

  • Support installation/placement of systems and ensure smooth customer onboarding

  • Gather customer feedback to support product and service improvements

  • Work towards agreed targets in a performance\-driven environment
Requirements
  • Full, valid driving licence and own vehicle (essential)

  • Comfortable working independently in a field\-based role

  • Strong communication and relationship\-building skills

  • Self\-motivated and target\-driven

  • Sales or business development experience is beneficial but not required
Compensation
  • Commission\-only role

  • Uncapped earning potential based on performance

  • Commission on customer candle sales already established.
