Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Consultant specialising in Apprenticeships to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth by developing new business relationships and expanding our apprenticeship programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and managing relationships through CRM systems. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about education, recruitment, workforce development, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the apprenticeship sector through targeted outreach and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, training providers, and other stakeholders to promote apprenticeship programmes.
- Utilise CRM software to track leads, manage contacts, and monitor sales pipelines effectively.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to demonstrate the value of apprenticeship offerings to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new apprenticeships and client accounts.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, government policies, and funding opportunities related to apprenticeships.
- Attend industry events, seminars, and meetings, as required, to promote our services and expand professional networks.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within education, training, or related sectors is desirable.
- Experience in recruitment would also be desirable, but not essential.
- Familiarity with CRM software or similar platforms, is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding mechanisms, and government initiatives will be advantageous but is not mandatory as full training would be provided.
