Eleven of Finland's 21 wellbeing services counties use Sotender to fill open healthcare shifts with their own staff instead of agency workers. We have signed our first Swedish customer and are now looking for the person who builds the rest of Sweden.

Koivu and Sotender

Koivu Solutions is a Finnish software company with long experience in product development and high maturity in AI. Sotender lets a care organisation publish open shifts and reach the right workers directly, faster and, in documented cases, at significantly lower cost than agency staffing. More than 40,000 employees use the platform across some twenty client organisations in Finland. Eleven of the country's 21 wellbeing services counties are customers, and the deepest deployment covers more than 8,000 employees.

The same product also sells to Finnish municipalities for schools and pre\-schools, and to private employers in manufacturing and shipping. The problem is identical everywhere: shift work, qualified roles, and shifts that have to be filled today.

Koivu is part of PubliX Group, a Nordic software group focused on the public sector. Three of its companies are Swedish: Tidvis, digiPlant and Embrace Safety.

The role

You establish Koivu and Sotender in the Swedish market. There is a product in production, a team in Finland and a group behind you. You build the rest.

You decide which segments we go after first and in what order: regions, municipalities, private care providers, or the sectors outside healthcare where we already have paying customers. You build the pipeline yourself through the first year, run tenders and direct procurements all the way to a signed contract, and set Swedish pricing together with product management in Finland.

The first two or three Swedish customers decide how fast the rest goes, and they should be chosen because they can be shown to the next buyer. The same applies to the product. Swedish labour law, collective agreements and scheduling do not work the way their Finnish equivalents do, and you are the one who takes those requirements in and drives them into product development.

If we deliver on the plan, you build a sales team after the first years.

Sweden is not Finland

The Swedish market has 21 regions and 290 municipalities instead of 21 counties, procurement works differently, and customers already have scheduling systems in place. The staffing problem is the same one, the cost of agency staff is at least as politically charged here, and we have a product running in eleven Finnish counties. If you want a finished market with finished sales material, this is the wrong role.

Who we are looking for

You have sold software or technology services to the Swedish public sector, and you have done it in health and social care. That is the hard requirement. You know how LOU works in practice, who owns the budget in a region, and why a successful pilot can still die in a procurement.

Beyond that:

• You have built a pipeline from zero


• You are comfortable being the only person in the country for a while, with support but without a finished structure


• Fluent Swedish and English. Both are required. English is the working language towards Finland, Swedish is the language of the market. Finnish is a merit, not a requirement


• You use AI properly in your own work, not as a first\-draft machine. We will ask how

What we offer

A mandate that is unusually broad for a sales role. You write the Swedish go\-to\-market plan and you execute it, with a short path to a decision.

You do not do it alone. The Finnish team gives you the product, delivery and a documented reference deployment to lean on. PubliX Group contributes office, AI, colleagues in Sweden, security and compliance. The Swedish sister companies already hold municipal relationships you can use.

Compensation is a fixed salary plus a variable component tied to new sales.

Location

Stockholm or Örebro, your choice. In Stockholm you share an office with PubliX Group's head office in the city centre, in Örebro with our sister company digiPlant. Expect regular travel to Finland and to customers across Sweden.
