Business Controller

As a Business Controller, you will take on an international role within a fast\-growing, sales\-driven organization. You will play a key part in building and improving performance management across the Liquids division (36 legal entities, 49 Business Units, worldwide.). Working closely with local teams, you will act as a strategic partner to Sales and Management, driving insights and continuous improvement.
You will report directly to the Financial Director and collaborate with an international team, including divisional and system specialists.
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Business Economics or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in as a Business Controller in a commercial organization
- Strong Strong analytical skills with experience in margin analysis and cost calculation.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Dynamics 365
- Proficient in Excel and Power BI (or similar reporting tools)
- Affinity with AI and finance digitalization
- Fluent in English and preferably Dutch
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Proactive, structured, and detail\-oriented
- Curious mindset with the ability to ask the right questions
- Analyze sales performance, margins, and cost prices to identify trends and opportunities
- Drive performance management while acting as a strategic business partner across the organization.
- Present insights, discuss results, and propose measurable improvements
- Support the setup and development of performance management frameworks
- Contribute to finance digitalization and process improvements
- Work with ERP/CRM systems (Dynamics 365\) to enhance reporting and data quality
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, Sales, and IT
