About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst with a strong background in data\-driven projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, preferably within the public sector digital space.
You will play a critical role in gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring effective collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high\-quality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to support data and digital initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications and user stories.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and deliver data\-driven solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements and drive consensus.
- Support the development and implementation of business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Ensure adherence to data management principles and best practices across projects.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of data management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
