Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Business Analyst to join our team and drive data\-driven decision\-making across various projects. Duties
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using SQL, R, Python, and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and optimize database structures utilizing Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports with Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
- Manage projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
- Automate routine tasks using VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripts to increase efficiency across data processing workflows.
- Support analysis efforts by applying strong visualization skills and analysis techniques to inform strategic decision\-making.
- Proven experience in business analysis with a solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL programming for data extraction and manipulation; experience with R and Python for advanced analytics is highly desirable.
- Hands\-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Visio, and other visualization tools for creating compelling reports.
- Strong knowledge of database design principles using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Familiarity with project management practices to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
- Data analysis skills combined with attention to detail to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- Knowledge of VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non\-technical stakeholders.
Pay: £32,000\.00\-£35,100\.00 per year
