Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Branch Manager to oversee daily sales and operations within our busy sales environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient sales processes, supervising team activities, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Reporting directly to the Trading Director, the Branch Manager will be the focal\-point of Vivalda London. You need to be a commercially minded, sales driven and a well organised individual who will enjoy building relationships with your team, suppliers and customers with the ability to troubleshoot issues if they arise.
Duties
- Own, lead and manage in the day to day management duties across the branch/site;
- Proactively build sales pipeline in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager
- Effectively project manage customer orders from enquiry, through to delivery
- Ensure all internal processes are followed and updated accurately
- Raise and process accurate sales quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes and POD's as required.
- Proactively liaise with your designated fabrication centre of excellence to ensure all customer orders are produced and delivered on time and maintain high quality standards
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers to include face to face meetings, with a view to increasing opportunities and enhancing existing margins
- Ensure our customers receive an excellent, consultative service
- Train, develop, support and motivate junior sales team members within your sales office
- Attend business meetings as required.
- Ensure that all legal, regulatory and statutory obligations are met within own area of responsibility including Health and Safety.
- Keep up to date with any industry trends and developments
- Participate in training as required and build on own professional development and expertise
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in a fast paced sales environment, exceeding sales targets
- Proven experience using ERP \& CRM systems \- NetSuite is advantageous
- Proven experience in buying and selling construction products
- High quality communication skills, verbal and written
- Supervising, developing, and supporting a team
- Understand and meet customer requirements
- Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers
- Proven experience in project management
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly numerate
