Branch Manager of Busy Trade Counter / Distribution outlet
*An independently owned specialist builders' merchant for over 35 years, General Building Plastics, is recruiting for a Branch Manager for their busy Trade Counter in Shrewsbury.*
*As Branch Manager you are an integral part of the GBP family.*
We are all committed to individual, branch and company development and you will contribute to this growth in the following ways:
- Increasing branch sales – dealing with customer enquiries at trade counter, phone and website ensuring every sales opportunity is met. Promoting full range of products available to guarantee all customers purchasing to full potential. Demonstrations days and promotional events.
- Stock control– managing stock availability to optimise sales opportunities, maintaining accurate stock levels, monitoring stock portfolio, merchandising and POS.
- Branch efficiency \- Continued development of staff through ongoing training. Maintaining positive environment. Utilising customer feedback.
- Personal development weekly Individual Meetings, Managers Meetings, training sessions, external courses
- Customer Relations Management \- creating strong trading partnerships through maintaining contact and passing on information to the external sales team. Understanding GBP Company Charter and maintaining company values.

Pay: £38,500\.00\-£40,500\.00 per year
