Job Description
Objectives and Responsibilities
To work as part of the Box Office team providing a high standard of customer service, ticket sales and administration for all visitors, hirers and colleagues.
To work with the Front of House team to ensure smooth and safe running of events Safeguarding of all visitors, hirers and staff through dementia awareness, awareness and reporting of health and safety issues and fire safety procedures
Provide an efficient box office sales service through our ticketing system, Ticketsolve.
Welcome all customers and visitors to the Maltings and effectively and politely deal with face to face, email and phone enquires, feedback and complaints, liaising with other teams as applicable.
Ensure customer records are accurate and maintained on our ticketing database.
Reconcile and record cash transactions for Finance Department and adhere to financial procedures and policies as specified by the Finance Manager.
Be knowledgeable and informative about Farnham Maltings and Museum of Farnham activities, events and departments.
Sell Maltings Store products and liaise with Craft team as required, including deliveries, stock levels and packaging.
Be familiar with the Maltings Membership and Patron scheme and promote joining.
Promote fundraising activities by talking about these to visitors.
Support hirers and visiting artists to the venue, liaising with other teams as applicable.
Record customer feedback and direct to the relevant teams to support continuous improvement.
Record visitors with access needs for evacuation safety and advise Duty team as appropriate. Undertake relevant Box Office building evacuation duties in case of emergency.
Maintain and nurture relationships with regular Maltings attendees, hirers and our Studio holders.
Supporting Marketing department in ensuring all publicity material is current and displays are maintained.
Keep abreast of upcoming events and actively upsell and cross sell performances (with the support of the Marketing \& Programming teams).
Overprinting of leaflets, display of posters and leaflets as agreed with Marketing team.
Undertake market and customer research as required.
Sort \& distribute post and into relevant personal and departmental pigeon holes. Advise recipients of deliveries.
Frank outgoing post and prepare for daily pickup.
Maintain customer records and show records and other duties in Ticketsolve
Welcome customers in the Foyer and provide information and directions as required.
Support customers with help on buying, printing reservations or downloading e tickets.

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
