Overview
TIC Health is seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Bookings Administrator to join our busy call centre team in Yate. This role is central to the patient journey, handling inbound calls, booking clinical services, and ensuring patients receive a smooth, supportive experience from first contact.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally
- Book appointments for NHS and private services, including:
- MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X\-ray
- ECGs, ETTs, blood tests and GP consultations
- NHS Lung Cancer Screening Programme
- Confirm patient details and provide appointment instructions
- Manage rescheduling and cancellations sensitively
- Direct calls to the appropriate TIC Health or TIC Imaging location
- Support patient choice by booking preferred locations where capacity allows
- Monitor and respond to emails in shared booking inboxes
- Accurately update appointment systems and administrative records
- Confident, clear and friendly telephone manner
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous call centre or healthcare bookings experience
- Knowledge of NHS or private healthcare settings
- Experience using clinical booking systems (e.g. RIS/PACS)
