Description

• Processing purchase invoices


• Raising sales invoices


• Journal entries


• Prepare invoices for payment.


• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.


• Producing the trial balance


• Running the weekly and monthly payroll including pensions and HMRC.


• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.


• Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks as required.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.

A successful Book-keeper should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.


• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.


• Experience in the transport and distribution industry is advantageous.

• Hourly pay ranging from £16.00 to £20.00, depending on experience.


• Temporary role offering flexibility in working arrangements.
