Salary offered: £27,914 \- £30,652 FTE
Leighton Park School is seeking to appoint a Boarding Experience Manager to play a vital role in enhancing the quality and success of boarding provision within Fryer House.
This is an exciting non\-teaching opportunity for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating positive experiences for young people. Applicants may come from a range of customer\-focused backgrounds, including hospitality, retail, wellbeing or service industries, and will bring warmth, initiative and excellent organisational skills to a varied and rewarding role.
Working closely with the Boarding House Team, the successful candidate will help create a supportive, welcoming and safe environment that truly feels like a *home away from home* for students. The role combines pastoral awareness, operational coordination and community\-building, ensuring students feel cared for, supported and able to thrive.
The successful candidate will be warm, approachable and empathetic, with excellent communication skills and the ability to listen with care. They will demonstrate sound judgement, tact and discretion, alongside a genuine understanding of the emotional and developmental needs of boarding students. A proactive and positive “can\-do” attitude will be essential in helping to ensure the boarding experience consistently exceeds expectations.
The Boarding Experience Manager will work closely with the Admissions Department to support the recruitment and retention of boarding students, promoting the distinctive strengths of Leighton Park’s boarding community. The role will also provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day running of Fryer House, including coordinating student arrivals and departures, maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment, and overseeing the effective deployment of domestic staff.
