Finance \& Audit Lead — Living With Hope CIC
Living With Hope CIC is seeking a strong Finance \& Audit Lead to support the financial discipline, evidence management and funding confidence of the organisation.
We provide safe accommodation and structured support for individuals escaping or recovering from domestic abuse. Our mission is to restore stability, dignity and opportunity.
This is not a passive advisory role.
We are looking for someone who can help build financial control, improve reporting, strengthen evidence trails and support the organisation in becoming more Audit\-ready.
The role will involve:
- Reviewing financial processes and improving internal controls
- Supporting cashflow tracking, forecasting and payment monitoring
- Helping strengthen invoice evidence, placement records and audit trails
- Supporting funder, lender and commissioner confidence
- Helping prepare the organisation for grants, investment, finance and due diligence
- Reviewing budgets, management accounts and financial reports
- Helping ensure financial decisions are disciplined, documented and commercially sound
- Accounting, audit or finance management
- Charity, CIC or social enterprise finance
- Housing benefit, supported accommodation or public sector payments
- Grant funding, lender due diligence or investor reporting
- Financial controls, risk management or governance
- Cashflow management for growing organisations
Expected commitment: approximately 1 board meeting per month, plus finance\-related input where required.
