We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Biomedical Service Engineer based in Naples, Italy.

Location: Remote , homebased in Naples. However, extensive travel will be required across Italy and some other European countries.

Contract Offered: Full\-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 08\.40 to 17\.20\. However, flexibility will be required.

What does this role involve?* Routine servicing and preventative maintenance of analysers and associated equipment in

• the field.


• Establishment of routine maintenance schedules.


• Development of procedures and support associated with new products.


• Emergency breakdown repair of Randox analysers in the field.


• Installation, commissioning and set\-up of analyser equipment


• Providing direct support to the end user by telephone and email.


• The training of Randox staff and end\-user personnel in analyser servicing procedures.


• Regular travel to visit customer sites for servicing and maintenance of Randox equipment

Essential criteria:* Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent accredited apprenticeships.

• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills, both written and oral.


• High level of motivation to work independently and use your own initiative.


• Ability to work effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and customers.


• Fluent in both Italian and English.


• Be available for extensive travel throughout Italy and some other European countries.


• Full EU driving license.


• Currently have the right to work in Italy, without visa sponsorship.

• Experience in computer hardware or engineering.


• Experience in servicing medical devices


• Experience with clinical chemistry analysers and applications knowledge.


• Previous sales or customer service experience
