Job Title: Billing Team Lead
Location: Swords, Co. Dublin
Salary: €40,000
Contract: Permanent
Work environment: Hybrid (3 days onsite 2 days from home)
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Billing Team Lead to support the Billing Manager and oversee day‑to‑day billing operations. You will guide team members, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain high levels of accuracy across all billing activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Billing Team Lead
- Support the Billing Manager with daily operations
- Train, mentor, and support billing team members
- Complete daily, weekly \& monthly reports
- Ensure SLAs are consistently achieved
- Carry out monthly 1:1 meetings
- Assist with annual price increases and project work
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams
- Review sales accruals and work‑in‑progress
- Process invoices, credit notes, and manual billing
- Maintain work orders and support contract setup
- Handle helpdesk and general billing queries
- Previous experience working in a finance or Billing environment
- Proven people management or team leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience working in a busy, deadline‑driven environment
- Proactive problem‑solver and self‑starter
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Power BI or Agresso ERP is an advantage
