Billing Clerk

Are you highly organised, detail\-oriented and confident working with data?
We're looking for a Billing Clerk to join our Finance team, playing a vital role in ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while helping us deliver an excellent service to our customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with billing, finance administration or credit control experience who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment, solving problems and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
What you'll be doing
As a Billing Clerk, you'll be responsible for ensuring invoices are produced, validated and issued in line with contractual requirements and service level agreements.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out manual checks on invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer contracts.
Reviewing invoice reports in Excel and identifying any discrepancies.
Producing, collating and distributing invoices via post or email.
Raising manual invoices and credit notes where required.
Matching invoices and journals within D365\.
Supporting finance reporting and providing information to internal stakeholders.
Maintaining accurate records across D365 and other business systems.
Investigating failed submissions and resolving billing\-related issues.
Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies.
Supporting recharge processes and validating supporting data.
Ensuring full compliance with data protection and governance requirements.
We're interested in candidates who have:
Experience working in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
A proactive and self\-motivated approach.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365\).
