About the Role:
At PitchBook, employees are our customers, and customers are king! The Finance team handles everything “money” at PitchBook including accounting, quote-to-cash, payroll, compliance, and budgeting for our fast-paced and growing company. The team supports the growth of PitchBook by providing actionable insights on the company’s financial health, all while working with a fun, energetic team! 
The Billing & Collections Analyst is involved in all areas of the accounts receivable process. This ranges from assisting the sales teams with billing questions, invoicing clients, and reaching out to clients with past due invoices. 
Primary Job Responsibilities:

<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Create invoice and revenue schedules for signed contracts</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collaborate with sales to address billing and customer set-up inquiries</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Complete contract and billing updates and changes </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Respond to customer and employee inquiries regarding billing and collections</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Communicate remittance information to outsourced cash application team</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Contact clients and resolve past-due invoices</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Submit invoices in client AP portals</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support customer phone inquiries</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Compile documentation for third party collection submissions</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ensure billing and collection notes are up to date and complete</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ensure clean master data through collaboration with corporate teams</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with month-end closing duties</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future</li>

Skills and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">2+ years of previous successful experience in an Accounts Receivable role</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to work independently, under tight deadline at times, and in an ever changing/dynamic environment</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency with MS Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Accounting Degree is a plus</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Functional knowledge of Revenue 606 </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Experience with Salesforce and Oracle </li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">High curiosity and a growth mindset </li>
