About the Role
------------------

We're looking for an experienced BI / Reporting Specialist to join our Information Management team and play a key role in the continued development of CMS's Business Intelligence strategy.

Working closely with the Head of Data, Information Systems Manager, and stakeholders across the business, you'll be the go\-to expert for our Qlik reporting environment. You'll design, develop and optimise dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights, support strategic decision\-making and drive operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with business engagement. You'll have the autonomy to influence how data is delivered across the organisation while supporting the ongoing evolution of our reporting platforms and capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as the subject matter expert for QlikView and Qlik Sense across the business


• Designing, developing and maintaining dashboards, reports and interactive visualisations


• Building data models, writing load scripts and ensuring efficient, accurate data structures


• Gathering and translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions


• Validating data quality, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reporting accuracy


• Working with internal stakeholders to deliver insights that support business performance and decision\-making


• Optimising application performance, security and governance standards


• Providing guidance, training and support to end users to maximise adoption and value

We're looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience developing Business Intelligence solutions, ideally in a dedicated BI or Reporting Specialist role


• Has strong hands\-on experience with QlikView and/or Qlik Sense and can confidently act as a specialist within the platform


• Has experience of data modelling, data transformation and database design principles


• Can analyse complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights


• Has excellent communication skills and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels


• Demonstrates strong problem\-solving skills, attention to detail and a passion for data

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other analytics platforms


• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA


• Experience with SQL databases including MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle or Snowflake


• Exposure to Python, JavaScript, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or Databricks

This is more than a BI role.
